Penso sia una delle ultime auto in cui ci ha messo lo zampino il giugi in persona.....concordo con te concetto ottimo, stilemi però molto vecchi, l'auto è del 2013 non 2002 come pare:-), e soprattutto un suv deve avere 4 porte non 2.
Dopo qualche mese ci hanno derivato un prototipo audi la nanuk

Audi svelera´a Detroit il concept per la Futura Q8, piu´o meno la risposta Audi a GLE coupe´e X6.

The Lamborghini Urus SUV range will feature the brand's first plug-in hybrid, according to R&D chief Maurizio Reggiani. It will be the only hybrid in the Lamborghini line-up and be offered alongside a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 Urus.

Lamborghini’s first SUV since the LM002 (1986-1993) is likely to make its first appearance next year and go on sale in 2018. Like the Audi Q7 and Bentley Bentayga with which it shares a platform, the Urus will also feature 48V-powered active anti-roll suspension.

“The design [of the Urus] is pure Lamborghini,” said Reggiani. “It has evolved considerably since the [2015] concept and the finished car is much better inside and out. ”Turbocharging will be “completely mandatory” for the Urus, he said, because as an SUV it needs huge torque.


“A supersports car is completely different; you need the responsiveness of the engine, to feel the spark of every cylinder. We will keep normally aspirated engines for our other models. They are still the best choice.”

Reggiani said Lamborghini will concentrate its R&D efforts on power, weight and aerodynamics, because “handling is a function” of these. “We want to be a leader here and have a chance to change the rules of the game,” he added, alluding to new, as yet undisclosed developments.

Reggiani said he sees a strong distinction between the firm’s four-wheel-drive models and the growing number of rear-wheel-drive variants. A modern electronic chassis control system like that of the Huracán LP580-2 is no substitute for the ability of four-wheel drive to transfer power to the road, he explained. Therefore, Lamborghini will continue to offer both driveline systems.

LISBON, Portugal -- Bentley Motors is eyeing a new strategy for both its SUV lineup and its electrification plans: combining them.

The superluxury automaker is considering doing a small SUV positioned below the Bentayga that would be electric-only, executives say.

"I can assure you that Bentley -- on the long term view -- will not stay with one model only in the SUV lineup," Wolfgang Duerheimer, Bentley CEO, said at the press launch of the Continental Supersports. "We have clear indications that a smaller Bentayga as a Bentley SUV would find great acceptance."

But a smaller SUV would need to be different enough from the Bentayga so as not to cannibalize the larger model's sales.

Making it electric solves that issue.

"If you are looking for such a car [small SUV] then we are looking to that in combination with the possibilities to go full electric," said Rolf Frech, Bentley's board member for engineering. "It only makes sense if you get really new customers into the brand."

An all-electric SUV could spell trouble for a Bentley sports coupe teased by the EXP 10 Speed 6 concept. Bentley likely lacks the resources to develop both an electric SUV and a production version of the EXP 10 after the financial toll of VW Group's emissions crisis. And the regulatory benefits of a zero-emissions vehicle may be too great to ignore.

Such an EV would be considered stage two of Bentley's electrification plans and likely wouldn't arrive until 2020 or beyond, Frech said.

Bentley announced stage one this year: a PHEV version of each model. The Bentayga SUV will be the first, followed by the new Continental GT and later the Mulsanne and Flying Spur.

The models will initially use a V-6 PHEV powertrain pulled from the VW Group. It is expected to be capable of at least 500 hp.

But Bentley won't stop with a V-6 plug-in hybrid option; a V-8 PHEV is also planned, particularly for the U.S. market, executives said.

Visto il successo della Bentayga era inevitabile che Bentley pensasse ad un'altra suv, però sarà elettrica.

Riuscirà a fare meno schifo dell’attuale? Tra Brexit e flop della Bentayga alla Vw stanno seriamente pensando di svendere il marchio Bentley.

È un flop, puntavano a 6.000 unità all'anno e, anche a causa del WLTP, sono arrivati a poco più di 4.000. Sono state cancellate la versione diesel e una variante coupé.
Con la Brexit Vw potrebbe facilmente pensare di vendere il marchio britannico.

Il restyling verrà presentato il 30 giugno ma le foto sono già state trafugate.



Rimane un obbrobrio.

Mi domando chi sia veramente interessato alla sorpresona di un nuovo paraurti sul più brutto (e costoso) SUV della storia dell'automobilismo globale ..

Fa un pò meno schifo di prima, un poco.

Dopo averne rivisto uno in autostrada, targa teteska, debbo dire che in movimento è veramente sgraziato e "balenotteroso"!

Il restyling ha forse migliorato qualche dettaglio ma resta il fatto che mi comprerei un Cayenne diesel e con la differenza una A45 amg!

Non so come hanno fatto a farla così cassone:-) :-) le sorelle audi q8, cayenne e cayenne coupè e lambo per il genere non sono affatto male.
Però han fatto un restyling bello pesante al Bentley, cmq nel 2019 4800 bentayaga +15%, davanti a urus 3900 ma in forte aumento e a rolls 1900...ma altri prezzi.
